The River Edge Board of Education invites all interested parents, families, and community members to either of two in-person input sessions with our Search Consultant, Kathleen Helewa on Wednesday, March 20. Ms. Helewa will discuss the steps in the Superintendent Search process and field input from participants regarding what qualities and attributes would make for an ideal new Superintendent for our school district. These sessions are not meetings of the River Edge Board of Education and Board of Education members will not be present. All outcomes will be presented to the Board to assist us in identifying qualified candidates for the position.
There is no pre-registration for these events. We sincerely hope you can attend!

The 17th Annual Young Artist Exhibition is underway at the River Edge Cultural Arts Center. There are many art pieces featured which are created by our River Edge students. The exhibition runs from 2/8/24-2/24/24 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm-4pm. If you have a chance make sure to check out the exhibition. Here is a preview of some of the art displayed.

On Sunday, 1/14/24, seventeen 4th and 5th graders from Roosevelt and Cherry Hill participated in the Junior Women's Club of River Edge's Tri Community Spelling Bee. They competed against 40 other students. New Milford, Oradell and River Edge were all represented. All of the students should be so proud of themselves! The words were so challenging! This young lady from River Edge came in third place overall! Congratulations to all!

Join us in the Thanksgiving Pack the Pick-up Food Drive at drop-offs on November 16, 17 at Cherry Hill School and November 20, 21 at Roosevelt School. We are collecting ShopRite gift cards, frozen turkeys, and non-perishable food to those in need this holiday season. All donations will be given to Bergen County Food Pantries to help families in need.
