In observance of Yom Kippur, River Edge schools will be closed on Thursday, October 2nd.
The River Edge Board of Education has revised the 2025–26 district calendar. There are two changes:
• Wed, September 24: Schools are closed
• If 3 (or more) emergency days are used, then Mon, June 22, 2026 becomes a school day with early dismissal.

Congratulations to our 6th-grade students who completed amazing Shark Tank projects! 🦈👏 This project is a culmination of the 6th-grade Social Studies unit connected to the economy. Students learn about market research, data collection and analysis, cost and revenue projections, and presentation skills. Class and school competitions were held, and we now have one winner from Cherry Hill School and one winner from Roosevelt School.
Next up, the District Finals! Cherry Hill and Roosevelt winners will present their innovative products to River Edge community members.
