WHAT IS R.E.E.F.?

The purpose of the Foundation is to provide a process by which money, grants, bequests and gifts can be collected and channeled to enhance the quality of education in the River Edge Public Schools.
Grants for 2005-2006
 
The River Edge Education Foundation has awarded grants to teachers in both Cherry Hill and Roosevelt Schools to support educational programs in both schools.  Applicants had to write a proposal summary, describe their objectives and anticipated outcomes, and outline how they would implement their programs.  After interviewing all the applicants, the following grants were awarded:

The Adelphi Orchestra (for both schools)

Mimio Projectors (portable "Smartboards") for both schools 
Michele Rokjer, RS
Artist in Residence
John Corcoran, RS
Sci Lab Equip-To-G0 (for both schools)
Pat Wondra, CHS
Building Characgter "At First Shot" (purchase of cameras and printer)

 
BRICK PAVERS

It is not too late to become a part of River Edge history and invest in our students' futures. Engraved brick paver orders will continue to be taken by The River Edge Education Foundation.  The permanently sealed bricks will be installed at both Cherry Hill and Roosevelt Schools.  Brick prices are as follows:
 
4" x 8" brick - 3 lines  13 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation. ($50.00) 8" x 8" brick - 6 lines  13 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation. ($95.00)

To order bricks: Make checks (tax deductible) payable to REEF and mail with your name, address, phone number and message (see below)
to:
REEF, c/o River Edge Board of Education, 410 Bogert Road, River Edge, NJ 07661.  Please specify whether you want your brick to be placed at Cherry Hill or Roosevelt School.
